Rumi is an extension of all the love and lore that Persia holds. Inspired by the beautiful bedouin women, Lilysa K wanted to curate a statement piece that captures the essence of femininity. Satin, Lace and Tulle molded together and dyed to a subtle lavender blend to resonate with the colour palette across regions of Persia. Lilysa K wanted to create something alluring and yet elegant. A tulle skirt portrays a sophistication for the lady that dons the Rumi and just like the poet himself, the Rumi is a creation that is intricate and eloquent. A lace pattern that is layered on top of satin creates a smooth and soft texture, almost dreamy.
Persian women were the mistresses of the art of seduction. Taking inspiration from them, Lilysa K played with silhouette for the Rumi.
